Our client is seeking a midlevel associate to join an expanding Global Loans/Global Markets practice in New York City. The role offers the chance to advise corporate trust companies and trust departments of major banking institutions across a broad mix of capital markets and financing matters.
The Work
- Advise corporate trust companies and trust departments of major banking institutions acting as indenture trustee or agent in capital markets transactions.
- Support corporate debt matters, bringing the trustee- and agent-side perspective to a range of debt transactions.
- Work on project finance and structured finance matters, advising institutional clients in their trustee or agent capacities.
- Advise on loan facilities, secured lending, and asset-backed lending transactions.
- Counsel clients on custodial arrangements and varied agency appointments.
What You Bring
- Three or more years of substantive experience advising corporate trust companies or trust departments of major banking institutions.
- Experience representing clients acting as indenture trustee or agent.
- Background advising on capital markets transactions, including corporate debt.
- Experience with one or more of project finance, structured finance, loan facilities, secured lending, or asset-backed lending.
- Familiarity with custodial arrangements and agency appointments is valuable.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated compensation range is $260,000–$420,000, and the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
