Our client is seeking a full-time M&A Associate with 3–5 years of relevant experience to join its Seattle team. This is a dedicated mergers and acquisitions role, not a general corporate position, with a focus on public- and private-company M&A and other strategic transactions.
The Work
- Serve as an integral associate on public- and private-company mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions, contributing across the life of a deal.
- Draft definitive transaction agreements and support the development and negotiation of core deal documentation.
- Conduct and help manage due diligence, including organizing diligence findings and supporting the transaction team's assessment of issues.
- Prepare and assist with disclosure letters in connection with strategic transactions.
- Coordinate with subject-matter experts to gather and incorporate input needed to advance transactions.
- Assist with managing client relationships and contribute to clear, responsive communication as matters progress.
- Work on transactions involving companies in the technology and life sciences sectors.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of relevant mergers and acquisitions experience.
- Experience with public-company or private-company M&A and/or other strategic transactions.
- Experience serving as an integral associate on M&A transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to draft definitive transaction agreements.
- Experience assisting with due diligence, disclosure letters, and other aspects of strategic transactions.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with subject-matter experts and assist with client relationship management.
- Superior academic credentials and/or law firm experience.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated salary range is $260,000–$365,000 based on year classification, with discretionary merit bonuses potentially available.
