Our client is seeking a Litigation Associate in Los Angeles with 2-6 years of broad-based civil litigation and/or white collar defense experience, as well as candidates completing a top clerkship. The practice handles consequential litigation and investigations for clients across technology, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and life sciences industries.
The Work
- Contribute to high-stakes civil litigation and white collar defense matters, taking meaningful responsibility early in the life of a case.
- Work on related investigations that require careful evaluation of facts, sound judgment, and independent analysis.
- Develop rigorous written work product to support litigation strategy and advocacy.
- Participate in trial-focused matters where the stakes are significant for clients and the lawyers handling the cases.
- Engage with matters involving clients in technology, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and life sciences industries.
- Collaborate with lawyers who take substantive litigation and trial work seriously while building responsibility through the course of matters.
What You Bring
- Two to six years of experience in broad-based civil litigation and/or white collar defense, or completion of a top clerkship.
- Experience handling meaningful responsibility early in a matter, developed at a law firm or through a demanding clerkship.
- Strong legal writing and the ability to analyze problems independently rather than simply execute assigned tasks.
- Sound judgment and the ability to contribute thoughtfully to consequential litigation.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A strong academic record.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated salary range is $225,000-$390,000 based on year classification, and discretionary merit bonuses may be awarded.
