Position overview

Our client is seeking a mid-level litigation associate to join its San Francisco Litigation & Enforcement practice. The work spans complex disputes for public corporations, financial services and investment management firms, and private equity clients in state and federal jurisdictions.

The Work

  • Manage and support complex litigation matters, helping drive case strategy and execution across state and federal proceedings.
  • Represent clients in complex commercial litigation and class action matters, contributing to the preparation and presentation of their positions.
  • Work on corporate governance and shareholder suits, including disputes involving corporate decision-making and shareholder interests.
  • Handle deal-related litigation and other complex disputes for public corporations and private equity clients.
  • Draft and prepare litigation documents and conduct legal research and analysis to support case development.
  • Collaborate with partners and associates at varied seniority levels, while mentoring junior associates.

What You Bring

  • Four to six years of comparable litigation experience, including sophisticated complex disputes.
  • Current experience at a large law firm.
  • Experience managing cases and handling complex litigation matters.
  • Strong litigation drafting skills and experience preparing litigation documents.
  • Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing abilities.
  • Ability to mentor junior associates and contribute constructively to a collaborative team.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and impressive academic credentials.
  • Admission in good standing to practice law in California.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated anticipated starting salary range is $310,000–$390,000, an estimate provided by the firm, and the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus.
