Our client is seeking a litigation associate with 4-9 years of experience to join its New York City litigation team. The team is particularly interested in candidates with securities litigation experience and offers substantial responsibility in managing complex matters.
The Work
- Help develop case strategy and take meaningful responsibility for managing complex litigation matters.
- Research and draft dispositive and contested motions, shaping arguments for significant contested issues.
- Direct discovery and expert workup, guiding the development of the evidentiary record.
- Take and defend depositions as part of the factual development and litigation strategy for matters.
- Prepare witnesses for trial, arbitration, and evidentiary hearings, and examine witnesses in those proceedings.
- Contribute to securities litigation matters, an area of particular interest to the team.
What You Bring
- 4-9 years of litigation experience.
- Substantial experience handling complex litigation.
- Strong securities litigation experience is of particular interest.
- Top law school credentials.
- Excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
- Experience researching and drafting dispositive and contested motions.
- Ability to take and defend depositions and direct discovery and expert workup.
- Ability to assume significant responsibility in managing matters and preparing for trial, arbitration, and evidentiary hearings.

Compensation & Benefits
The firm-stated annual compensation range is $310,000-$450,000, with the salary within that range dependent on qualifications and other operational considerations.
