Position overview

Our client is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Life Sciences & Healthcare Regulatory practice in Seattle. The practice advises healthcare providers, suppliers, and life sciences organizations on regulatory matters across a broad and varied healthcare ecosystem.

The Work

  • Advise hospitals, health systems, healthcare providers, and suppliers on healthcare law and regulatory matters, developing clear, practical legal analysis for a diverse client base.
  • Support academic medical and research centers, nonprofit health systems, outpatient facilities, healthcare professionals, and other provider organizations on matters affecting their operations.
  • Work with digital and health technology companies, investors, and management companies active across the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Assist life sciences clients ranging from established global enterprises to emerging developers and manufacturers of drugs, biologics, medical devices, diagnostics, foods, dietary supplements, and cosmetics.
  • Contribute to regulatory work involving laboratories, trade and professional organizations, and clinical research organizations.
  • Collaborate with attorneys in litigation, white collar, transactions, intellectual property, and other practice areas on interdisciplinary client matters.
  • Take independent ownership of legal research, analysis, and written work while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team.

What You Bring

  • At least three years of experience practicing healthcare law.
  • Experience representing hospitals and health systems, healthcare providers, and suppliers.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and creatively while also contributing successfully as part of a team.
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong professional references.
  • Current license to practice law in Washington or current eligibility to obtain the required license.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated salary range is $260,000 to $365,000, commensurate with experience, and associates may be eligible for an hours-based bonus.
