Our client is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Life Sciences & Healthcare Regulatory practice in Los Angeles. The role focuses on healthcare law and regulatory work for hospitals, health systems, healthcare providers and suppliers, and companies across the life sciences ecosystem.
The Work
- Advise hospitals, health systems, healthcare providers, and suppliers on matters involving healthcare regulation and their operations.
- Work with clients across the healthcare ecosystem, including academic medical and research centers, nonprofit health systems, outpatient facilities, healthcare professionals, investors, and management companies.
- Support life sciences clients on product-regulatory matters involving drugs, biologics, medical devices, diagnostics, foods and dietary supplements, and cosmetics.
- Work with a varied life sciences client base that includes product developers and manufacturers, laboratories, trade and professional organizations, and clinical research organizations.
- Collaborate with attorneys in litigation, white collar, transactional, intellectual property, and other practices on interdisciplinary client matters.
- Conduct substantive research and analysis, develop written work product, and contribute independently and creatively while working as part of a team.
What You Bring
- At least three years of experience practicing healthcare law.
- Experience representing hospitals and health systems.
- Experience representing healthcare providers and suppliers.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and creatively, as well as successfully as part of a team.
- Excellent academic credentials and references.
- Currently licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice in the applicable jurisdiction.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated salary range is $260,000 to $365,000, commensurate with experience, and the position is eligible for an hours-based bonus.
