Our client is seeking a mid-level associate with at least three years of healthcare law experience to join its Life Sciences & Healthcare Regulatory practice in Chicago. The work spans healthcare provider and supplier regulation and life sciences product regulation, serving clients across the healthcare ecosystem.
The Work
- Provide regulatory legal support across matters involving healthcare providers, suppliers, and life sciences products.
- Represent hospitals, health systems, healthcare providers, and suppliers on healthcare law matters, contributing research, writing, and legal analysis.
- Work with clients that include academic medical and research centers, nonprofit health systems, outpatient facilities, healthcare professionals, digital and health technology companies, investors, and management companies.
- Support matters involving life sciences products such as drugs, biologics, medical devices, diagnostics, foods and dietary supplements, and cosmetics.
- Engage with a broad range of life sciences organizations, including laboratories, trade and professional organizations, and clinical research organizations.
- Collaborate with attorneys in litigation, white collar, transactions, intellectual property, and other practice areas on interdisciplinary client work.
What You Bring
- At least three years of experience practicing healthcare law.
- Experience representing hospitals and health systems, healthcare providers, and suppliers.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and creatively while contributing successfully as part of a team.
- Excellent academic credentials and references.
- Currently licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the jurisdiction where applying.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated salary range is $260,000 to $365,000, commensurate with experience, and associates may be eligible for an hours-based bonus.
