Position overview

Our client is seeking a mid-level associate with at least three years of healthcare law experience to join its Life Sciences & Healthcare Regulatory practice in Boston. The practice advises organizations across the healthcare and life sciences sectors on regulatory matters.

The Work

  • Represent hospitals, health systems, healthcare providers, and suppliers on healthcare law matters, applying careful legal research, writing, and analysis.
  • Support clients across a varied provider and supplier landscape, including academic medical and research centers, nonprofit health systems, outpatient facilities, and healthcare professionals.
  • Work with digital and health technology companies, investors, and management companies active across the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Contribute to regulatory matters involving life sciences companies, from worldwide enterprises to emerging developers and manufacturers.
  • Work with organizations whose products and activities include drugs, biologics, medical devices, diagnostics, foods and dietary supplements, and cosmetics.
  • Engage with matters involving laboratories, trade and professional organizations, and clinical research organizations.
  • Collaborate with attorneys in litigation, white collar, transactions, intellectual property, and other practices on interdisciplinary client work.

What You Bring

  • At least three years of experience practicing healthcare law.
  • Experience representing hospitals and health systems.
  • Experience representing healthcare providers and suppliers.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and creatively while contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent academic credentials and references.
  • Currently licensed, or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Massachusetts.

Compensation & Benefits
