Position overview

Our client is seeking a corporate associate with 2–4 years of experience to join a life sciences-focused practice in Santa Monica. The team advises high-growth life sciences, healthcare, and technology companies in the U.S., Asia, and other markets on corporate transactions throughout their development.

The Work

  • Advise venture-backed private and public companies on a range of corporate lifecycle and transactional matters.
  • Contribute to equity financing transactions for high-growth companies, including work with venture-backed businesses.
  • Support companies preparing for and completing initial public offerings and other registered equity offerings.
  • Handle ongoing SEC representation and public-company matters, including advising on corporate governance.
  • Work on mergers and acquisitions involving companies in the life sciences, healthcare, and technology sectors.
  • Collaborate with company clients and colleagues on transactions and ongoing corporate matters across domestic and international markets.

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years of experience in corporate and transactional matters.
  • Experience across a broad range of corporate lifecycle work.
  • Experience with public-company matters and ongoing SEC representation.
  • Experience working on registered equity offerings and IPOs.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions transactions.
  • Life sciences company experience is preferred; candidates with a genuine interest in life sciences work will also be considered.
