Our client is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate to join its employer-side practice in Los Angeles. The position focuses primarily on litigation, including class and representative actions, and also includes employer advice and investigations work.
The Work
- Represent employers in employment litigation, with a primary focus on class and representative actions.
- Work on wage-and-hour class and representative actions, contributing to matters involving employer practices and workplace claims.
- Handle discrimination litigation as part of a varied employer-side docket.
- Contribute to employment advice matters, helping employers address labor and workplace issues.
- Participate in investigations involving employment-related concerns.
- Work across litigation and non-litigation matters within the labor and employment practice.
What You Bring
- Approximately 5–9 years of relevant labor and employment experience; the search is directed to law school classes 2017–2021.
- Experience at a peer law firm in the employment practice, with three or more years in that setting likely to provide relevant experience.
- Employer-side employment litigation experience.
- Experience with wage-and-hour class or representative actions is relevant to the practice.
- Class action experience is helpful.
- Experience or capability in employment discrimination matters.
- Ability to contribute to employer advice and investigations work.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated annual compensation range is $310,000–$435,000, with placement in the range depending on qualifications and operational considerations.
