Position overview

Our client is seeking a junior-level associate to join its growing Real Estate Practice Group in Seattle. This opportunity is suited to an attorney with at least one year of commercial real estate transaction experience who is ready to contribute to complex, sophisticated matters in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

The Work

  • Manage assigned components of commercial real estate transactions, working both independently and as part of deal teams.
  • Contribute to lender- and borrower-side mortgage and mezzanine financings, coordinating transaction work and communicating with clients as matters progress.
  • Support real estate acquisitions and dispositions, taking responsibility for assigned workstreams through the transaction process.
  • Work on real estate leasing transactions, contributing to deal execution and client service.
  • Assist with joint venture deals and develop experience across the practice group's range of real estate matters.
  • Work directly with clients while collaborating with attorneys who are invested in associate growth and development.

What You Bring

  • At least one year of experience working on commercial real estate transactions.
  • Experience working in teams and independently managing components of one or more relevant transactions.
  • Experience with lender- or borrower-side mortgage or mezzanine financings, real estate acquisitions or dispositions, leasing, or joint venture deals.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional business acumen and experience working directly with clients.
  • Excellent academic credentials and references.
  • Currently licensed, or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Washington.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated salary range is $225,000 to $260,000, commensurate with experience, and an hours-based bonus is available to eligible associates.
