Our client is expanding its San Francisco team and seeks a junior associate with 2–4 years of experience to advise innovative businesses and the funds that invest in them. The practice works with clients ranging from newly formed startups to multi-billion-dollar technology market leaders.
The Work
- Advise innovative companies on business formation and the legal needs that arise as they develop and grow.
- Work on financing transactions for companies at different stages, representing businesses and the funds investing in them.
- Support mergers and acquisitions involving clients across the practice’s broad range of company sizes and stages.
- Collaborate with experienced practitioners on sophisticated matters handled at a national level.
- Contribute to a practice serving technology companies, from newly formed startups to established market leaders.
What You Bring
- At least two years of relevant experience; experience at a comparable law firm is preferred.
- Strong academic credentials and professional references.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience or interest relevant to advising innovative companies through formation, financing, and M&A matters.
- Quantitative ability and Excel skills are preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
The position is eligible for a $235,000–$260,000 annual salary range, depending on qualifications and experience, an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including 401(k), medical, dental and vision insurance, personal medical and parental leave, paid holidays, and family care benefits.
