Our client is seeking an IP Litigation Associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its IP Litigation team in Irvine. Qualified candidates will bring strong law school credentials and experience in intellectual property or patent litigation; experience with PTAB disputes is also valued.
The Work
- Contribute to the team’s intellectual property litigation matters, drawing on prior experience in IP disputes.
- Work on patent litigation matters as part of the IP Litigation team.
- Bring relevant experience to PTAB disputes when those matters are part of the practice.
- Apply technical knowledge from an engineering or computer science background to IP and patent litigation work.
What You Bring
- Three to six years of experience, consistent with law school classes 2020–2023.
- Strong law school credentials.
- Experience in intellectual property or patent litigation.
- An undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a similar field is highly preferred.
- CAFC clerkship experience is preferred.
- Experience with PTAB disputes is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The firm-stated annual compensation range is $260,000–$390,000, with the salary within that range dependent on qualifications and operational considerations.
