Our client is seeking an IP Litigation Associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its IP Litigation team in New York City. The opportunity is aimed at attorneys with strong academic credentials and experience in IP or patent litigation.
The Work
- Contribute to the team’s IP litigation practice, bringing prior experience with intellectual property disputes and, in particular, patent litigation.
- Apply litigation experience to patent matters; the position description does not prescribe a specific case-stage assignment or workstream.
- Candidates with PTAB dispute experience can bring that background to the team’s IP litigation work; PTAB experience is a plus.
- Draw on technical education, where applicable, in fields such as electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or mechanical engineering.
What You Bring
- Approximately 3–6 years of experience, with the search focused on law school class years 2020–2023.
- Strong law school credentials.
- Prior IP or patent litigation experience.
- An undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a similar field is highly preferred.
- Federal Circuit clerkship experience is preferred.
- Experience with PTAB disputes is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated annual compensation range is $260,000–$390,000, depending on qualifications and operational considerations.
