Position overview

Our client is seeking an associate with 3–6 years of experience (law school classes 2020–2023) to join its IP Litigation team in San Francisco. The practice focuses on IP and patent litigation, and experience with PTAB disputes is a plus.

The Work

  • Join the IP Litigation team and contribute prior IP and patent litigation experience to its matters.
  • Work within a practice focused on IP and patent litigation; specific case types, stages, and assignments will be discussed with candidates.
  • PTAB disputes are an additional area relevant to the practice, with prior PTAB experience considered a plus.
  • Bring a technical academic background to the practice; degrees in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or similar fields are highly preferred.

What You Bring

  • 3–6 years of experience; the search is directed to attorneys in law school classes 2020–2023.
  • Top law school credentials.
  • Experience in IP or patent litigation.
  • An undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a similar field is highly preferred.
  • CAFC clerkship experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience with PTAB disputes is a plus.
