Our client is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Intellectual Property Associate with 3–6 years of experience in life sciences patent disputes to join its IP Litigation team in Irvine. The position focuses on high-stakes litigation for innovator pharmaceutical companies, including matters in district court and before the PTAB.
The Work
- Represent innovator pharmaceutical companies in life sciences patent disputes in district court, contributing to the handling and development of complex cases.
- Work on Hatch-Waxman (ANDA) litigation involving pharmaceutical patent disputes.
- Participate in biologics patent disputes under the BPCIA.
- Contribute to litigation strategy development for high-stakes patent matters.
- Support litigation management across district court and PTAB proceedings.
- Counsel clients on patent disputes and related litigation considerations.
What You Bring
- 3–6 years of experience as an Intellectual Property attorney, with a strong background in life sciences patent disputes.
- Substantial experience representing innovator pharmaceutical companies in patent disputes.
- Experience with Hatch-Waxman (ANDA) litigation.
- Experience with biologics patent litigation under the BPCIA.
- Experience handling patent disputes in district court and before the PTAB.
- Ability to contribute to litigation strategy development and case management.
- Ability to provide client counseling on complex patent litigation matters.
- Motivated, detail-oriented approach to high-stakes litigation.

Compensation & Benefits
The firm-stated annual compensation range is $260,000–$390,000, depending on qualifications and operational considerations.
