Our client is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Intellectual Property associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its IP Litigation team in Denver. The role focuses on complex life sciences patent disputes, including pharmaceutical and biologics litigation.
The Work
- Represent innovator pharmaceutical companies in patent disputes in federal district court, contributing to litigation strategy and case management.
- Work on Hatch-Waxman (ANDA) matters involving patent disputes connected to pharmaceutical products.
- Contribute to biologics patent litigation under the BPCIA, addressing complex issues for innovator companies.
- Participate in proceedings before the PTAB as part of a broader life sciences patent dispute practice.
- Support client counseling on litigation matters and help develop approaches to high-stakes disputes.
- Collaborate with the IP Litigation team across district court and PTAB matters.
What You Bring
- Three to six years of experience as an Intellectual Property attorney.
- Substantial experience representing innovator pharmaceutical companies in patent disputes.
- Background in Hatch-Waxman (ANDA) litigation.
- Experience with biologics patent litigation under the BPCIA.
- Experience handling patent disputes in district court and before the PTAB.
- Ability to contribute to litigation strategy, matter management, and client counseling.
- Strong attention to detail and motivation to work on complex, high-stakes litigation.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated annual compensation range is $260,000–$390,000, based on qualifications and operational considerations, with health care, retirement benefits, paid sick and vacation time, parental leave, basic life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, and discretionary performance-based bonuses.
