Our client is seeking an associate with 3–6 years of experience to join a market-leading, Chambers-ranked Investment Funds Secondaries team. The role offers exposure to a broad range of cutting-edge secondary investment transactions and requires in-person work.
The Work
- Provide legal support on continuation fund transactions, including complex matters within the secondaries practice.
- Work on LP-led secondary transactions, contributing to a varied portfolio of secondary-market work.
- Support fund formations alongside secondary investment transactions.
- Advise on other types of secondary-market transactions, gaining exposure to a wide range of deal structures and matters.
- Manage complex matters in a fast-paced environment while supporting the team’s secondary investment work.
What You Bring
- At least 3 years of relevant legal experience; candidates with approximately 3–6 years are sought.
- Strong legal expertise in private equity, secondaries, and fund-related transactions.
- Ability to manage complex matters in a fast-paced environment.
- Stellar academic credentials.
- Comparable law firm experience.
- General corporate experience is helpful but not required.
- Availability to work in person.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation has been estimated at $260,000–$390,000 based on the 2026 Cravath base scale; this is an estimate, not firm-stated compensation.
