Our client is seeking an associate with 3–6 years of experience to join a market-leading, Chambers-ranked secondaries investment funds team. The position offers substantive work on a range of complex secondary market transactions and requires availability to work in person.
The Work
- Support continuation fund transactions, including the legal work involved in structuring and executing these secondary investment matters.
- Advise on LP-led secondary transactions and contribute to the execution of sales and other secondary market deals.
- Work on fund formations alongside the team’s secondary investment transaction matters.
- Manage complex matters in a fast-paced environment, coordinating the legal work required to advance transactions.
- Contribute to a broad range of cutting-edge secondary investment transactions and fund-related matters.
What You Bring
- At least 3 years of relevant legal experience; the opportunity is intended for associates with approximately 3–6 years of experience.
- Experience with private equity, secondaries, and fund-related transactions.
- Ability to manage complex matters in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Comparable law firm experience.
- General corporate experience is helpful but not required.
- Availability to work in person.
