Position overview

Our client is seeking an Investment Funds Secondaries Associate for an opportunity in Fort Worth. The role is aimed at an attorney with at least three years of experience who is interested in advising on a broad range of secondary investment transactions and fund-related matters.

The Work

  • Support continuation fund transactions, contributing legal analysis and execution support through complex secondary investment matters.
  • Work on LP-led secondary transactions, addressing the legal and fund-related issues that arise in these deals.
  • Assist with fund formations and other secondary-market transactions as part of a varied deal mix.
  • Help manage complex matters in a fast-paced environment, taking responsibility appropriate to your experience.
  • Apply private equity, secondaries, and fund transaction knowledge across a wide range of cutting-edge matters.

What You Bring

  • At least three years of relevant legal experience; candidates with approximately 3–6 years are sought.
  • Strong legal expertise in private equity, secondaries, and fund-related transactions.
  • Experience supporting or handling secondary investment transactions, including continuation funds or LP-led secondaries.
  • Knowledge of fund formation work or other secondary-market transactions.
  • Ability to manage complex matters in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stellar academic credentials and experience at a comparable law firm.
  • General corporate experience is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to work in person, as required for this position.

Compensation & Benefits

An estimated base range of $260,000–$390,000, derived from the 2026 Cravath scale, has been provided; this is an estimate, not confirmed firm-stated compensation.
