Our client is seeking an Investment Funds Associate with 5–8 years of experience to join a sponsor-side private equity fund formation practice in Washington, DC. The role offers direct client interaction, work on cutting-edge matters, and training alongside leading practitioners.
The Work
- Contribute to sponsor-side private equity fund formation matters, supporting clients through the formation process.
- Work directly with clients on fund formation matters, with meaningful interaction as matters progress.
- Collaborate with leading practitioners on a focused private equity fund formation practice.
- Participate in cutting-edge matters and develop experience across the practice’s sponsor-side work.
What You Bring
- 5–8 years of legal experience, corresponding to law school classes 2018–2021.
- Experience in private equity fund formation.
- Background representing sponsors in fund formation matters.
- Ability to work directly with clients on fund-related matters.
- Interest in developing within a sponsor-side investment funds practice and working on cutting-edge matters.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated annual salary range is $310,000–$420,000, with the offered salary dependent on qualifications and operational considerations.
