Our client is seeking an Investment Funds Associate with 5–8 years of experience to join a highly regarded sponsor-side private equity fund formation practice in New York City. The role offers direct client interaction, meaningful involvement in cutting-edge matters, and training from leading practitioners.
The Work
- Contribute to sponsor-side private equity fund formation matters, working with clients and leading practitioners throughout the relevant work.
- Take meaningful responsibility for assigned work and develop ownership on matters in keeping with your experience.
- Engage directly with clients as part of the practice, gaining substantive interaction on fund formation matters.
- Work on cutting-edge matters within a focused private equity fund formation practice.
What You Bring
- Five to eight years of relevant experience, corresponding to law school class years 2018–2021.
- Experience in sponsor-side private equity fund formation.
- Ability to contribute substantively to fund formation matters and take responsibility for assigned work.
- Interest in direct client interaction and working closely with leading practitioners on cutting-edge matters.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated annual compensation range is $310,000–$420,000, depending on qualifications and other operational considerations, with discretionary, performance-based bonuses.
