Position overview

Our client is seeking an attorney with 4–8 years of insurance coverage experience to join its Insurance Recovery practice in Denver. The attorney will help policyholders secure defense and indemnity coverage for third-party liability claims and will work directly with insurance company adjusters and underlying defense counsel.

The Work

  • Assist policyholders in securing defense and indemnity coverage for third-party liability claims, coordinating directly with insurance company adjusters and underlying defense counsel.
  • Advance policyholders’ rights to coverage under a broad range of commercial insurance policies, addressing matters involving varied losses and liabilities.
  • Contribute to a busy and varied caseload of policyholder coverage matters, with exposure to significant cases handled by the practice.
  • Work with the team on insurance coverage issues arising across almost every type of commercial insurance policy.
  • Maintain direct communications with adjusters and underlying defense counsel as coverage matters progress.

What You Bring

  • At least four years of insurance coverage experience; the target experience range is 4–8 years.
  • Experience representing policyholders in insurance coverage or insurance recovery matters.
  • Ability to work directly with insurance company adjusters and underlying defense counsel to pursue coverage.
  • Experience at an AmLaw 200 firm or a policyholder boutique is preferred.
  • Strong interest in helping policyholders enforce their rights to coverage for third-party liability claims.
