Our client is seeking an Insurance Recovery attorney with at least four years of experience to join its policyholder-focused practice in Madison, Wisconsin. The attorney will work on a busy and varied caseload, helping policyholders secure defense and indemnity coverage for third-party liability claims under commercial insurance policies.
The Work
- Work directly with insurance company adjusters and underlying defense counsel to pursue defense and indemnity coverage for third-party liability claims.
- Assist in enforcing policyholders’ rights to coverage under a broad range of commercial insurance policies.
- Contribute to a varied caseload involving a wide spectrum of losses and liabilities, with opportunities to work on significant policyholder matters.
- Coordinate coverage efforts with the counsel and professionals handling underlying claims, helping advance policyholders’ positions.
- Support matters across almost every type of commercial insurance policy handled by the Insurance Recovery practice.
What You Bring
- At least four years of attorney experience in insurance coverage or insurance recovery matters.
- Experience representing policyholders in pursuing insurance coverage is preferred.
- Experience working with insurance company adjusters and underlying defense counsel on coverage matters is valued.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance policies and defense and indemnity coverage issues.
- Experience at an AmLaw 200 firm or policyholder boutique is preferred.
