Our client is seeking an attorney with 4–8 years of experience to join its Insurance Recovery practice in Palo Alto. The team represents policyholders seeking defense and indemnity coverage for third-party liability claims across a broad range of commercial insurance policies.
The Work
- Assist policyholders in securing defense and indemnity coverage for third-party liability claims, advancing coverage positions under applicable commercial insurance policies.
- Work directly with insurance company adjusters to pursue coverage and address issues arising in the claims process.
- Coordinate with underlying defense counsel to support coverage efforts alongside the defense of the underlying liability claims.
- Contribute to a busy, varied caseload involving a wide spectrum of losses and liabilities and almost every type of commercial insurance policy.
- Help enforce policyholders’ rights in significant matters, including some of the largest policyholder cases in the nation.
What You Bring
- At least four years of experience in insurance coverage or insurance recovery.
- Experience representing policyholders in efforts to obtain insurance coverage for liability claims.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance policies and issues involving defense and indemnity coverage.
- Ability to work directly and effectively with insurance company adjusters and underlying defense counsel.
- Experience at an AmLaw 200 firm or policyholder boutique is preferred.
