Our client is seeking an Insurance Recovery attorney with at least four years of experience to join its Phoenix practice. The attorney will help policyholders secure defense and indemnity coverage for third-party liability claims in a busy, varied practice.
The Work
- Pursue defense and indemnity coverage for policyholders facing third-party liability claims, helping secure insurance protection for the underlying matters.
- Work directly with insurance company adjusters to advance coverage positions and address issues affecting policyholders’ rights.
- Coordinate with underlying defense counsel so coverage efforts are connected to the defense of the liability claims.
- Handle matters involving a wide range of losses and liabilities under nearly every type of commercial insurance policy.
- Contribute to a varied policyholder caseload that includes significant coverage matters, with opportunities to take an active role in securing coverage.
What You Bring
- At least four years of experience practicing insurance coverage or insurance recovery law.
- Experience representing policyholders in efforts to secure insurance coverage is preferred.
- Ability to assess coverage issues arising from third-party liability claims and pursue defense and indemnity coverage.
- Experience communicating and working directly with insurance company adjusters.
- Ability to coordinate coverage work with underlying defense counsel.
- Experience at an AmLaw 200 firm or policyholder boutique is preferred.
