The Work
- Draft and negotiate life sciences licensing and commercial agreements, addressing the legal and business issues that arise in complex technology-based transactions.
- Advise on intellectual property and technology licensing matters for life sciences companies and their investors.
- Work on strategic alliances, collaborations, and joint ventures, helping clients structure relationships around the development and commercialization of products.
- Support a spectrum of matters that also includes vendor agreements and other licensing arrangements.
- Collaborate with clients to identify transaction priorities, develop creative solutions, and move negotiations forward.
What You Bring
- At least three years of experience in life sciences licensing.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills relevant to complex commercial transactions.
- Experience advising on or supporting licensing and other technology-based agreements.
- Ability to work through nuanced legal and business issues in collaboration with clients and colleagues.
- A degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field is desirable.
- Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is also desirable.
