Our client is seeking a San Francisco corporate attorney with 3–6 years of experience advising on insurance placements and claims. The practice spans D&O, representations and warranties, cyberliability, and other coverage matters, with opportunities to address issues arising in corporate transactions and disputes.
The Work
- Advise corporate clients on insurance placements, including Directors & Officers, representations and warranties, cyberliability, and other lines of coverage.
- Support clients in managing insurance claims, analyzing complex legal and coverage issues and developing timely, well-reasoned work product.
- Address D&O advancement and indemnification issues and commercial contract indemnification matters.
- Work on insurance-related issues arising in corporate and M&A disputes and securities litigation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties while managing deadlines and competing priorities.
- Help foster client relationships by anticipating needs and delivering responsive, high-quality legal services.
What You Bring
- Three to six years of relevant experience advising clients on corporate insurance matters.
- Direct and applicable experience at an AmLaw 100 firm.
- Knowledge of insurance placements and claim management, including D&O, representations and warranties, or cyberliability coverage.
- Experience with commercial contract indemnification, D&O advancement or indemnification, corporate or M&A disputes, or securities litigation is a plus.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice in the state where the attorney will be based.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, business judgment, organization, and ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
