Our client is seeking a Washington, D.C.-based associate with at least two years of FDA regulatory experience to advise healthcare and life sciences clients across the product lifecycle and in transactions involving FDA-regulated entities.
The Work
- Counsel clients on FDA regulatory matters from product development and clinical trials through launch and marketing, engaging with issues that arise at each stage of the product lifecycle.
- Support transactions involving FDA-regulated companies and products, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations, securities offerings, IPOs, financings, and venture capital investments.
- Assess regulatory issues in corporate transactions and coordinate with corporate colleagues and clients to identify and address relevant risks.
- Contribute to client work across the healthcare and life sciences sector, including matters involving companies, technology providers, and other industry stakeholders.
What You Bring
- At least two years of experience advising clients on FDA regulatory matters.
- Experience with transactional matters involving FDA-regulated entities.
- Knowledge of FDA issues arising across the regulated product lifecycle.
- Experience with product development, clinical trials, launch, and marketing is preferred.
- Experience working with government regulators at different stages of the FDA-regulated product lifecycle is preferred.
- Outstanding writing skills and an interest in a dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced practice.

Compensation & Benefits
The search includes a provided base salary estimate of $235,000–$310,000, based on the 2026 Cravath scale; this is an estimate rather than firm-stated compensation.
