Position overview

A growing healthcare practice is seeking an associate with 3–5 years of relevant experience to advise healthcare providers, health systems, and other industry participants. Based in Los Angeles, the preferred location, or Seattle, you will work on sophisticated transactional, operational, and regulatory matters with experienced healthcare attorneys.

The Work

  • Draft and negotiate healthcare contracts, supporting clients through the practical and regulatory considerations that shape their agreements.
  • Counsel healthcare providers and health systems on operational and regulatory questions, helping clients address issues arising in their day-to-day practice.
  • Advise on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement matters and analyze healthcare regulatory requirements affecting clients and their operations.
  • Support healthcare compliance analysis, including fraud-and-abuse issues, and contribute to related counseling as matters develop.
  • Collaborate across practices and industry teams on digital health, compliance, healthcare transactions, reimbursement, and operational strategy.

What You Bring

  • Three to five years of relevant healthcare transactional and regulatory experience; law firm experience is preferred.
  • Experience advising clients on healthcare regulatory and operational matters.
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills, including the ability to contribute to contract negotiations.
  • Effective client counseling skills and sound professional judgment.
  • Demonstrated interest in healthcare law and the operational side of healthcare practice.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and work collaboratively across teams, supported by strong academic credentials.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated annual salary range is $225,000–$315,000, and an annual discretionary bonus may be available.
