Join a Seattle team advising private and public companies on privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity matters embedded in corporate and technology transactions. This opportunity offers exposure to companies across artificial intelligence and machine learning, cloud computing, software, and fintech.

The Work

  • Advise on privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity matters arising in mergers and acquisitions, helping company clients address these considerations in the context of corporate transactions.
  • Work on privacy and data issues connected to public offerings, supporting clients through capital markets transactions.
  • Counsel on privacy and cybersecurity considerations in technology transactions and other commercial and strategic deals.
  • Serve private and public companies of varying sizes across industries that include artificial intelligence and machine learning, cloud computing, software, and fintech.
  • Contribute to advice spanning the full range of privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity matters relevant to corporate and technology transactions.

What You Bring

  • 1–7 years of legal experience, with experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, technology transactions, or other transactional work required.
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and superior academic credentials.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with technology industries is desirable.
  • Experience with regulatory policy and enforcement is desirable.
  • CIPP certification is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated salary range is $225,000–$420,000 based on year classification, with discretionary merit bonuses potentially available.
