Our client is seeking an experienced associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its Government Investigations and White Collar Litigation practice in Richmond. The team represents individual and corporate clients in sensitive matters across industries, working with clients and colleagues nationally and internationally.
The Work
- Contribute to the representation of individual and corporate clients in civil, criminal and congressional investigations and enforcement matters.
- Work on federal- and state-level investigations and enforcement matters, including matters involving sensitive business, political and legal issues.
- Assist with litigation arising from government investigations and enforcement proceedings.
- Collaborate with partners and clients across the United States and internationally on investigations and litigation.
- Support the team’s work for clients across a range of industries and matter types.
- Develop within a substantial practice group of more than 80 attorneys focused on government investigations and white collar matters.
What You Bring
- 3–6 years of experience in government investigations and/or white collar litigation.
- Experience working on civil, criminal or congressional investigations or enforcement matters.
- Knowledge of federal and state government investigation and enforcement processes.
- Experience contributing to litigation related to investigations or enforcement matters.
- Ability to work collaboratively with partners and clients on sensitive matters.
- Strong judgment and discretion in handling matters at the intersection of business, politics and law.

Compensation & Benefits
The firm offers excellent benefits, a stated salary of $235,000–$365,000, hours and merit bonus opportunities, and billable-hour credit for pro bono work.
