Position overview

Our client is seeking an associate with 2–4 years of experience to join its Seattle finance practice. The work includes middle-market commercial and commercial real estate financings, with opportunities to contribute to matters for both lenders and borrowers.

The Work

  • Work on middle-market commercial finance matters for lender and borrower clients, gaining exposure to both sides of financing transactions.
  • Contribute to commercial real estate finance matters involving a range of financing arrangements.
  • Work on revolving loan and term loan transactions as part of a varied commercial finance practice.
  • Participate in syndicated credit facility matters, developing experience across complex lending arrangements.
  • Engage with financing for private equity-backed acquisitions when matters arise in this preferred area of experience.

What You Bring

  • Two to four years of experience in middle-market commercial and commercial real estate finance.
  • Experience with revolving loans, term loans, and syndicated credit facilities.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Membership in the Washington State Bar, ability to join it, or admission in another state with immediate ability to waive in by motion.
  • Experience financing private equity-backed acquisitions is preferred but not required.
  • An accounting background or accounting experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

The firm-stated compensation range is $235,000–$310,000.

The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, a 401(k) plan, medical, dental and vision insurance, personal medical and parental leave, up to ten paid holidays, and family care benefits.
