Position overview

Our client is seeking an early-career associate for its Denver office to work on health regulatory and government enforcement matters involving drug and vaccine products. Candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience and strong academic credentials, along with advanced analytical, research, and writing skills.

The Work

  • Research and analyze Medicare and Medicaid statutes and regulations governing coverage and reimbursement of prescription drugs.
  • Advise on federal government price-reporting requirements, including the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program and Medicare Part B Average Sales Price.
  • Work on matters involving Section 340B of the Public Health Service Act and the Veterans Health Care Act.
  • Contribute to health care and government enforcement matters involving the False Claims Act and the Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • Develop clear, well-supported written analysis on regulatory and enforcement issues affecting drug and vaccine products.

What You Bring

  • At least two years of experience with health regulatory or government enforcement matters involving drug and vaccine products.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Medicare and Medicaid drug coverage and reimbursement, federal price reporting, the False Claims Act, or the Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • Knowledge of requirements under the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, Medicare Part B Average Sales Price, Section 340B, or the Veterans Health Care Act is relevant.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Advanced analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
