Position overview

Our client is seeking an associate with at least two years of experience in health regulatory or government enforcement matters involving drug and vaccine products to join its Los Angeles office. The role offers work across prescription-drug coverage and reimbursement, federal government price reporting, and related enforcement matters.

The Work

  • Work on health regulatory and government enforcement matters involving drug and vaccine products.
  • Address Medicare and Medicaid statutes and regulations related to coverage and reimbursement of prescription drugs.
  • Work with federal government price-reporting requirements, including the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program and Medicare Part B Average Sales Price.
  • Handle matters involving Section 340B of the Public Health Service Act and the Veterans Health Care Act.
  • Contribute to matters involving the False Claims Act and the Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • Research and analyze complex regulatory requirements and develop clear, persuasive written work on health care issues.

What You Bring

  • At least two years of experience with health regulatory or government enforcement matters involving drug and vaccine products; candidates from the class of 2024 or above are considered.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Medicare or Medicaid prescription-drug coverage and reimbursement, federal price reporting, the False Claims Act, or the Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Advanced legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent legal writing skills.
