Our client is seeking an associate with at least two years of experience in health regulatory or government enforcement matters involving drug and vaccine products to join its Washington, D.C. office. The position calls for strong academic credentials and advanced analytical, research, and writing skills.
The Work
- Analyze health regulatory and government enforcement issues affecting drug and vaccine products, supporting matters that require careful application of federal healthcare laws and regulations.
- Research Medicare and Medicaid statutes and regulations concerning prescription-drug coverage and reimbursement, and develop written analysis of the relevant requirements.
- Address federal government price-reporting obligations, including requirements associated with the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program and Medicare Part B Average Sales Price.
- Work on matters involving Section 340B of the Public Health Service Act and the Veterans Health Care Act, including the regulatory requirements applicable to covered programs.
- Support False Claims Act matters involving healthcare and pharmaceutical issues through focused legal research and written analysis.
- Contribute to matters involving the Anti-Kickback Statute and related healthcare regulatory or enforcement questions.
What You Bring
- At least two years of experience with health regulatory or government enforcement matters involving drug and vaccine products; candidates from the class of 2024 or later are considered.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Medicare or Medicaid prescription-drug coverage and reimbursement; federal government price reporting; the False Claims Act; or the Anti-Kickback Statute.
- Knowledge of relevant federal requirements, including the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, Medicare Part B Average Sales Price, Section 340B, or the Veterans Health Care Act, is valuable.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Advanced analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
