Our client is seeking an associate for its New York City practice with at least two years of experience in health regulatory or government enforcement matters involving drug and vaccine products. The role offers substantive work across prescription-drug reimbursement, government price reporting, and related enforcement issues.
The Work
- Analyze Medicare and Medicaid statutes and regulations addressing coverage and reimbursement of prescription drugs.
- Advise on federal government price reporting requirements, including obligations under the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program and Medicare Part B Average Sales Price.
- Work on matters involving Section 340B of the Public Health Service Act and the Veterans Health Care Act.
- Research and prepare written work on potential False Claims Act issues arising in the pharmaceutical and health care context.
- Support analysis of Anti-Kickback Statute questions involving drug and vaccine products.
- Contribute to health regulatory and government enforcement matters through detailed legal research, analytical work, and drafting.
What You Bring
- At least two years of experience in health regulatory or government enforcement matters involving drug and vaccine products.
- Experience in one or more relevant areas, including Medicare or Medicaid prescription-drug coverage and reimbursement, government price reporting, the False Claims Act, or the Anti-Kickback Statute.
- Knowledge of federal price reporting requirements, such as the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, Medicare Part B Average Sales Price, Section 340B, or the Veterans Health Care Act, is relevant.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Advanced analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
