Position overview

Our client is seeking an associate or counsel with 3–6 years of law firm experience to join its Houston Energy & Infrastructure Projects team. Strong financing experience is central to the role, alongside opportunities to work across related transactions and project development.

The Work

  • Work on debt financings for energy and infrastructure projects, contributing to transactions that require strong financing experience.
  • Contribute to tax equity financing matters involving energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Participate in mergers and acquisitions connected to energy and infrastructure businesses or projects.
  • Support joint venture transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
  • Work on project development transactions, alongside financing and transactional matters.
  • Deliver high-quality work product and service to clients across a range of energy and infrastructure transactions.

What You Bring

  • Three or more years of law firm experience; the team is seeking mid- to senior-level associates or counsel, generally within a 3–6 year range.
  • Strong financing experience is required.
  • Experience with debt and tax equity financings is sought.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and project development transactions involving energy and infrastructure projects is desirable.
  • A high level of academic achievement and a commitment to high-quality work product and client service.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated base salary range is $260,000–$455,000, with actual compensation determined by relevant factors, and the role may be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
