Our client is seeking a 3–6 year associate for a corporate practice focused on mining infrastructure and energy-transition transactions. Based in Houston, this role offers significant involvement in a varied mix of financing, commercial, strategic, and renewable energy matters.
The Work
- Participate in financing transactions involving mining infrastructure, drawing on experience with debt finance and related corporate work.
- Contribute to debt finance matters, developing familiarity with the financing structures and legal work supporting mining infrastructure projects.
- Work on offtake transactions as part of a practice that combines financing and commercial arrangements.
- Support M&A and joint venture transactions within the team’s mining infrastructure and energy-transition practice.
- Contribute to renewable energy transactions alongside mining infrastructure and other corporate matters.
What You Bring
- Three to six years of relevant associate experience.
- Significant involvement in financing transactions, including debt finance.
- Experience with offtakes, M&A, joint ventures, and renewable energy transactions is sought.
- Strong academic credentials are required.
- Comparable law firm or in-house experience is preferred.
