Position overview

Our client is seeking an Environmental & Mass Tort Litigation Associate to join its Seattle, Washington department. The environmental practice provides guidance on matters across air, water, and land through counseling, negotiations, and litigation.

The Work

  • Contribute to environmental matters involving air, water, and land, working across the range of issues addressed by the environmental practice.
  • Support client guidance on environmental law matters through counseling and regulatory advice.
  • Assist with environmental enforcement matters and related regulatory counseling.
  • Participate in negotiations on environmental matters as part of the team’s work for clients.
  • Contribute to litigation involving environmental law issues.
  • Work within an environmental and mass tort department on matters aligned with the associate role.

What You Bring

  • Three to six years of relevant legal experience for an associate-level position.
  • Experience or capability aligned with environmental law matters involving air, water, and land.
  • Knowledge or experience relevant to environmental enforcement and regulatory counseling.
  • Ability to contribute to legal matters involving counseling, negotiations, and litigation.
  • Background aligned with environmental and mass tort litigation practice.
