Our client is seeking an associate or counsel with 4–8 years of experience to join its Energy and Climate Solutions team in Washington, D.C. The practice advises on engineering and construction law matters and commercial procurement contracts for complex energy and infrastructure project development.
The Work
- Handle engineering and construction law matters arising in energy and infrastructure project development.
- Advise on commercial procurement contracts used to support the development of energy and infrastructure projects.
- Contribute to complex, cutting-edge, and often first-of-a-kind projects across a broad range of technologies.
- Work on solar photovoltaic, standalone battery storage, solar-plus-storage, wind, geothermal, and nuclear projects.
- Support project work involving carbon capture and removal, hydrogen, fuel cells, biomass, renewable chemicals, and combined heat and power.
- Engage with projects in transportation fuels, EV charging, data centers, and transmission.
What You Bring
- 4–8 years of experience in engineering and construction law matters.
- Experience with commercial procurement contracts.
- Experience relevant to energy and infrastructure project development.
- Ability to bring legal experience to complex projects involving energy or infrastructure development.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated salary range is $310,000–$435,000, based on year classification, with discretionary merit bonuses potentially available.
