Position overview

Our client is seeking an associate or counsel with 4–8 years of experience to advise on engineering, construction, and commercial procurement matters tied to energy and infrastructure development. Join a mission-driven group handling complex projects across established and emerging technologies.

The Work

  • Advise on engineering and construction law matters arising in energy and infrastructure project development.
  • Handle commercial procurement contract work supporting the development of complex projects.
  • Contribute to projects involving solar PV, stand-alone battery storage, and solar-plus-storage developments.
  • Work across a broad mix of energy technologies, including wind, geothermal, nuclear, hydrogen, EV charging, and fuel cells.
  • Support projects involving carbon capture and storage, direct air capture, carbon removal, renewable chemicals, transportation fuels, data centers, and transmission.

What You Bring

  • 4–8 years of experience in engineering and construction law matters.
  • Experience with commercial procurement contracts.
  • Experience related to energy and infrastructure project development.
  • Ability to work across complex project matters involving engineering, construction, and procurement issues.
  • Relevant experience with energy technologies or infrastructure projects is valuable, including renewable power, storage, or emerging climate solutions.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated salary range is $310,000–$435,000, based on year classification, with discretionary merit bonuses also possible.
