Our client is seeking an associate or counsel with 4–8 years of experience to join its Energy and Climate Solutions group in Salt Lake City. The role combines engineering and construction law with commercial procurement contract work supporting energy and infrastructure project development, including complex and often first-of-a-kind projects.
The Work
- Advise on engineering and construction law matters connected to energy and infrastructure project development.
- Handle commercial procurement contract work supporting the development of energy and infrastructure projects.
- Work across project types including solar PV, standalone battery storage, solar-plus-storage, wind, geothermal, and nuclear.
- Support projects involving carbon capture and storage, direct air capture, carbon removal, biomass, transportation fuels, hydrogen, and fuel cells.
- Work on matters involving EV charging, renewable chemicals, combined heat and power, data centers, and transmission.
What You Bring
- 4–8 years of experience in engineering and construction law matters.
- Experience with commercial procurement contracts.
- Experience supporting energy and infrastructure project development.
- Ability to work across a range of complex energy and infrastructure project types.

Compensation & Benefits
The firm-stated salary range is $310,000–$435,000, based on year classification, with discretionary merit bonuses potentially available.
