Our client is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with 2–5 years of experience to join a collaborative Employment & Trade Secret practice in San Francisco. The role combines management-side employment litigation with practical counseling for companies at different stages of growth.
The Work
- Litigate employment disputes for employer clients, with responsibility across significant matters involving the employment relationship.
- Handle disputes involving trade secret misappropriation, non-compete covenants, employee non-solicitation, and other employment-related contract issues.
- Work on high-profile sexual harassment and discrimination matters, developing litigation strategy and preparing written advocacy.
- Advise fast-growing companies on day-to-day employment issues, including terminations, leaves of absence, and reviewing and drafting workplace policies.
- Conduct internal investigations and counsel clients on sensitive workplace matters.
- Advise on employment mobility concerns and employment-related issues arising in mergers, acquisitions, spin-outs, and other corporate transactions.
- Work with a varied client base, from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies in technology, life sciences, green energy, and cleantech.
What You Bring
- Two to five years of experience in management-side employment law litigation and counseling.
- Considerable experience litigating employment law cases.
- Experience providing day-to-day employment advice to companies, including guidance on terminations, leaves, and workplace policies.
- Knowledge of employment mobility issues, including trade secrets, non-competes, and employee non-solicitation.
- Experience advising on employment-related issues in mergers and acquisitions or other corporate transactions is relevant.
- Excellent academic credentials and strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Membership in the California Bar is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated salary range is $235,000–$365,000, based on year classification, and discretionary merit bonuses may be awarded.
