Our client is seeking an experienced litigator to take meaningful ownership of sophisticated commercial matters in Los Angeles. Working closely with partners and clients, you will help guide cases from early strategy through resolution while developing courtroom, client-service, and matter-management experience.
The Work
- Manage key aspects of complex commercial litigation matters, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Draft and argue substantive motions and briefs in state and federal court, and prepare pleadings and other court filings with limited supervision.
- Take and defend depositions and manage written discovery, including document review and production.
- Collaborate directly with partners and clients to develop litigation strategy and provide practical, business-focused advice.
- Coordinate with litigation support teams and help keep matters moving through resolution.
- Mentor and supervise junior associates while maintaining responsibility for your own workstreams and case-management priorities.
What You Bring
- At least six years of litigation experience; law firm experience is preferred.
- Admission to practice in California, or the ability to obtain admission promptly.
- Substantial experience with motion practice, discovery, depositions, and litigation case management.
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, including the ability to draft substantive briefs and present arguments.
- Ability to manage multiple matters effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Compensation & Benefits
The firm-stated annual salary range is $310,000–$330,000, with actual pay adjusted for job-related factors; eligible full-time employees may also qualify for an annual discretionary bonus and a benefits package.
