Position overview

Our client is seeking a mid-level associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its Debt Finance group in Redwood City. The practice represents private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and financing for corporate growth.

The Work

  • Represent private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in connection with term and revolving loan facilities.
  • Draft and negotiate commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documents for financing transactions.
  • Work on leveraged buyouts, supporting the financing arrangements that enable sponsor-backed acquisitions.
  • Handle acquisition financings for clients across sponsor and lender representations.
  • Advise on financing for corporate growth, including facilities supporting companies’ expansion needs.

What You Bring

  • 3–6 years of relevant legal experience in debt finance or a closely related practice.
  • Experience representing private equity sponsors, banks, and/or private credit lenders in financing matters.
  • Experience with term and revolving loan facilities.
  • Demonstrated drafting and negotiation experience with commitment papers and credit agreements.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating collateral documents.
  • Experience with leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and/or corporate growth financings.

Compensation & Benefits

The supplied compensation figure is an estimate of $260,000–$390,000, derived from the 2026 Cravath base scale and not stated by the firm.
