Join a growing privacy and cybersecurity practice advising leading technology companies through high-stakes incidents and complex regulatory challenges. This New York opportunity offers meaningful responsibility across crisis response, investigations, counseling, and technology-focused matters.

The Work

  • Advise companies responding to cybersecurity incidents, helping manage legal issues arising during fast-moving events and related crisis management.
  • Represent clients in investigations involving cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and privacy, including regulatory defense matters.
  • Counsel companies on cybersecurity best practices and regulatory compliance as they address evolving privacy and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Provide cybersecurity expertise in connection with technology and corporate transactions, helping clients assess and navigate related legal issues.
  • Advise cybersecurity companies on legal compliance affecting security research and threat intelligence activities.
  • Work with leading technology companies confronting complex cyber, AI, and privacy regulation as part of a growing practice.

What You Bring

  • Three or more years of relevant experience in incident response, cybersecurity investigations, private-sector cybersecurity counseling, or cybersecurity-facing work within a government agency.
  • Experience or demonstrated knowledge in cybersecurity incident response, investigations, counseling, or regulatory matters.
  • A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and superior academic credentials.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Relevant cybersecurity or privacy experience with a state or federal government agency is valued.
  • Ability to take on substantial responsibility while supporting clients on complex cybersecurity and privacy issues.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated salary range is $260,000–$435,000, based on year classification, and discretionary merit bonuses may be awarded.
