Our client’s highly experienced team advises leading and innovative companies around the world on complex challenges involving data, privacy, cybersecurity, consumer protection, and AI. This opportunity offers a 3–6-year associate meaningful exposure to investigations, global compliance, and practical counseling at the intersection of business and evolving regulation.
The Work
- Represent companies in high-stakes investigations brought by the FTC and state Attorneys General involving privacy, data security, and related regulatory issues.
- Advise clients on practical approaches to collecting, using, and sharing data while complying with complex global privacy laws.
- Help clients create, enhance, and audit privacy and cybersecurity policies and programs, tailored to business and legal needs.
- Develop and implement global compliance programs addressing privacy and data protection obligations across jurisdictions.
- Advise on thoughtful, effective legal and business responses to security breaches.
- Counsel on complex consumer protection and AI regulatory issues, including matters affecting technology businesses.
What You Bring
- Three to six years of relevant associate experience.
- Superior academic credentials.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience advising on privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, consumer protection, or related regulatory matters.
- Experience involving technology industries, government regulation and technology, or FTC privacy and data security policy or enforcement is desirable.
- Familiarity with computer programming, network technologies, database design, or web technologies is a plus.
- CIPP certification is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The stated salary range is $260,000–$390,000 based on year classification, with discretionary merit bonuses potentially available.
