Position overview

Our client is seeking a Los Angeles attorney with at least three years of relevant experience to join a growing practice advising leading technology companies on cyber incidents and complex privacy, cybersecurity, and AI issues. The position offers significant responsibility across response, investigations, regulatory defense, counseling, and transactions.

The Work

  • Work with companies responding to cybersecurity incidents, contributing to incident response and crisis management efforts as they address complex legal and regulatory issues.
  • Represent clients in investigations involving cybersecurity, AI, and privacy, and support regulatory defense matters.
  • Counsel companies on cybersecurity and privacy best practices and regulatory compliance as requirements continue to evolve.
  • Advise on cybersecurity considerations in technology and corporate transactions.
  • Counsel cybersecurity companies on legal compliance related to security research and threat intelligence activities.
  • Serve leading technology companies across a growing practice covering cyber, AI, and privacy matters.

What You Bring

  • At least three years of relevant experience in incident response, cybersecurity investigations, private-sector cybersecurity counseling, or cybersecurity-facing government work.
  • Experience handling cybersecurity and privacy issues, investigations, or regulatory matters relevant to the practice.
  • A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Superior academic credentials.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant cybersecurity or privacy experience in a state or federal government agency is valued.

Compensation & Benefits

The stated salary range is $260,000–$435,000 based on year classification, with discretionary merit bonuses.

Benefits include firm-paid CLE and bar expenses, healthcare coverage, paid parental leave, wellness reimbursements, and a 401(k) plan.
